B. Document Collection, Processing, Hosting and Production

DSL collects, processes, hosts and produces documents in lawsuit and investigation matters, pursuant to pricing comprehensive quality control procedures and flat, per page pricing.

C. Validation and Defense of Process

In appropriate matters, DSL provides expert validation and defense of process services, which consist of, among other things, consultation with counsel to assure that best practices are utilized, gathering of information and preparation of documentation sufficient to argue credibly to a court or regulator that best practices were utilized, preparation of an expert declaration, and testimony at a hearing or meeting with regulators.

II. Services in Multiple Litigation or Investigation Matters

A. Discovery Process Management

DSL serves in a master vendor capacity with respect to the discovery processes of corporate legal departments and law firms. For clients that wish to utilize DSL in this role, DSL will, under the supervision of the corporate legal department or law firm, manage and implement the document review and electronic discovery processes across a pre-defined set of matters that the corporate legal department or law firm is responsible for. DSL’s management of these processes includes, among other things, management of the personnel and implementation of the procedures for document review and electronic discovery in particular matters, monthly reporting to the corporate legal department or law firm on actual and projected costs, significant upcoming discovery deadlines, discovery issues arising in particular matters that could impact other matters, evolving expectations of courts and regulators with respect to electronic discovery, and other topics.


B. Discovery and Records Management Program Development

DSL works with corporate legal departments and law firms to develop and implement:

(1) Electronic Discovery Programs, which include an Electronic Discovery Manual, a Data Source Catalog and a Training Program;

(2) Legacy Data Management and Remediation Programs, which include policies for disclosure of legacy data to courts and regulators and procedures for remediation of such data; and

(3) Records Management Programs, which include a Records Management Policy, Schedule and Implementation Program.
