History
Launched in June, 2008, Discovery
Services LLC ("DSL") is the brainchild of founder and CEO,
Ashish Prasad. As one of the leading lights in electronic discovery today,
he has conceived DSL as an innovative and practical solution to the
real-world challenges that law firms and their corporate clients
encounter with electronic discovery and document review.
With his extensive expertise in all aspects of electronic discovery –
in theory, as policy and in practice – it made sense for Prasad to
build upon his role as outside counsel advising on electronic
discovery matters. Through DSL, Prasad has been able to expand the
scope of his electronic discovery counseling and services to meet the
growing needs that he saw from both corporate clients and law firms.
Indeed, DSL's very structure and services are designed to best serve
those needs: a minority-certified company that provides high quality
document review in a cost-efficient and controlled manner – with
expert validation when needed – all the while supporting the
diversity needs of the legal profession.
